Valentines day is coming up this week, this is when most of us women want to look even more fabulous for our partners or that special someone to impress. One of the best things that women have as our attraction weapon is Make up!
It can make you look romantic, sexy, hot, modern, pale even colourful. It can make your eyes look smaller, bigger, in fact you can change so much with the correct technique and as this is part of my job I wanted to share some makeup ideas for Valentines.

First this Doe eyed look I achieved by applying a good eye primer, I use Elizabeth Arden Eye Fix Primer (it makes your eyeshadow last so much longer). I then used Urban Decay Naked 2 palette Foxy all over the lid and then pistol in the crease and just along the bottom lid. For the liner I used Yves Saint Laurent Long lasting eyeliner (and it is very long lasting!) along the top and bottom winging out both. As you come to the inner eye at the bottom draw the line lower than you normally would, this gives the appearance of a bigger eye. I then smudged these out using a slanted eyebrush or you can the use the smudge tip on the eyeliner at the opposite end. I then used a white eyeliner to draw inside the lid and at the sides of my eye in between the black wings, then on the inner eye I went over the lid slightly just to where the black liner was. I finished with lots of Loreal Volume Million Lashes and some Amazing shine 747-XS false lashes.

(not my eye)
The Classic winged liquid eyeliner, this is a great sultry look and there are so many good liquid liners out now. I tend to use Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner, it is so easy to draw on with and leaves a clear line and lasts all day without fading or smudging.
The classic Smokey eye, the best palette for this I find is the Urban Decay Naked 2, there so many neutral colours in there so you can have a lighter smokey eye if you are fair haired or go darker if you are Brunette. I use Busted and Blackout for the darker areas on my eyes as I like it very dark.
Last of all The Lips!
I love the Ombre lips and I will be re-creating this for Valentines day as I think it makes your lips look so full. First of all I primed my lips well as I want the red to stay put, I then put Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick in Rouge Buzz on just the top lip (miss out the bottom lip totally). I then applied a coral crush lipstick (can't find the make as name has rubbed off) all along the bottom lip. You then gently press your lips together so that the red lipstick stains the bottom lip just on the inside which gives the Ombre effect.
Le Voila! Kissable lips.
